Hand made Screens
How to make fabric printing screens in the college lab?
A carpenter can make a stable wooden screen of square or rectangle shape. Stretch and mount a nylon fabric on it. Take a print of the selected design. Put it below the screen and draw with a pencil. With a suitable painting brush apply enamel paint or any other waterproof paint on the background area of the motif. Take care of edges to be sharp. Allow to dry for one day or two. Make corrections if any holes are visible on seeing against a light. Seal the edges of the frame properly. Now it can be used for printing.
